BSB Takes Over The Big Screen

We all know that the Backstreet Boys are the most popular group in the world. Before they caught the wave of success, the Boys had several collective goals - one of which was to star in a movie. We know that if the Boys filmed a flick, it will be an instant box-office smash. Millions of fans will flock to theaters; gazing upon the larger-than-life faces of Kevin Richardson, AJ McLean, Nick Carter, Brian Littrell & Howie Dorough. If the Boys DO make a movie, what will it be about? We came up with several possibilities...

We all want to know more about the Boys' life on the road. You're already addicted to MTV's 'The Real World', the show that follows a teen-group through every moment of every day. A BSB flick like this will allow us to savor every detail of the BSB day, from those grouchy mornings through the euphoria of a sell-out concert. True-to-life documentaries are always fascinating. And you know every second behind-the-scenes footage will be worth watching. We can't get enough of the Boys.
What if the members of the BSB were to potray a fictional boy band that makes it big? The movie will follow the guys from the creation of the band through their practice sessions, their miraculous discovery and all the way to their astonishing success. The guys will play characters that are wildly different from their real personalities. For example, it will be very interesting to see the Boys masquerade as a heavy metal band. Ummmm...no!
Another interesting idea for a Backstreet film would be to cast the guys in a remake of a Broadway musical. We like the idea of the Boys filling in the major roles of 'West Side Story', 'Cats', or 'Phantom Of The Opera' - although it would be difficult to pick the very right Boy for the male lead. They are all so cute and so talented!
Or, put the guys in leather, give them motorcycles and take them out to the middle of the Nevada Desert. Presto! A BSB-action-adventure movie. The President's in mortal danger and the Backstreet Boys are his only hope! Nick, Kevin, AJ, Brian and Howie become our heroes (all over again) as they fight off criminals, brave the elements and save the day!
BSB heads into the future! Picture our favorite guys dressed in space gear and completely equipped with air filters and laser beams. Watch as they board a spaceship and take off to save a planet from music-hating aliens. As far as we're concerned, teh Backstreet Boys rule the galaxy!
Dress them in expensive suits and call them lawyers! The members of BSB could easily step into courtroom drama - prepared to fight for your rights and win! With BSB around, justice will definitely be served!
Perhaps our favorite BSB movie would be one featuring the fabulous five in a romance. Nothing can be compared to seeing AJ, Howie, Nick, Kevin & Brian play out tender roles of love. The film will follow the Boys through each of their individual relationships; from the initial meeting point to their stunning weddings. Get out your tissues, because you're going to need them. That is, unless they cast YOU as your favorite member's girl!
No matter what sort of movie deal the Backstreet Boys eventually enter into, we knowwe will love it unconditionally. Until then, we can only keep dreaming of our Backstreet Boys on the big screen.
